Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Junior Trader to join our dynamic trading team. This entry-level role offers hands-on training across multiple trading desks, providing exposure to various asset classes such as equities, commodities, forex, and derivatives. The Junior Trader will open and close trades under the direct supervision of senior traders and head traders, gaining real-time experience in market execution. As part of the training program, each junior will rotate through different desks to develop a well-rounded skillset. Based on performance and strengths observed during training, the trader will be placed on a permanent desk with a specific asset focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close trades under supervision of senior and head traders
- Rotate across trading desks to gain experience with different asset classes
- Analyze market data to support trade decisions
- Monitor financial markets and news developments
- Maintain trading logs and performance reports
- Apply risk management strategies
Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Programming knowledge (e.g., Python) is a bonus.
- Previous finance/trading internship experience is a bonus.
- Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills; able to distill complex concepts into clear and concise language.
