Restricted Jurisdictions

As part of our commitment to regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering standards, we do not accept participants from jurisdictions identified as high-risk or non-cooperative based on assessments by international bodies such as the (FATF) and the (EU). Currently, individuals or entities from 64 jurisdictions are restricted from participating. These restrictions are in place to preserve the integrity and security of our operations and to ensure adherence to global compliance standards. We appreciate your understanding.

	Georgia Middle East	Georgia has emerged as a new hotspot for online scam operations, according to the UN. Organized cyber-fraud networks have established call‑center hubs in cities like Tbilisi and Batumi, where staff—some coerced or trafficked—run romance and investment scams targeting victims worldwide. One operation in Tbilisi is estimated to have pulled in over $35 million from more than 6,000 victims between 2022 and 2025, using professional setups, deceptive marketing, and encrypted recruitment via platforms like Telegram. > United Nations
	Ghana Africa Full Restricted	Ghana is another African country that has become a hub for internet scamming. The country has a large population of young people who are well-versed in technology. They use their knowledge to carry out various forms of scams, including romance scams, lottery scams, and employment scams. Ghanaian scammers have been known to create fake profiles on dating sites and social media platforms to lure unsuspecting victims. Ghana is still restructuring debt under a 3-year IMF ECF program launched in 2023. It enforces controlled capital flows and creditor treatment rules under IMF supervision. Allowing funds could interfere with debt agreements or comparability of treatment. 	Guatemala Latin America	We cannot accept funds or investors from Guatemala because the EU imposed targeted financial sanctions in January 2024 on officials undermining democracy and the rule of law. The sanctions aim to hold accountable those responsible for political interference and financial misconduct tied to democratic backsliding. Engaging with sanctioned persons risks breaching EU law and exposing us to serious compliance and reputational consequences. > Human Rights
	Guinea Africa	We cannot accept funds or investors from Guinea due to targeted EU sanctions stemming from the 2009 brutal repression of protests—which include asset freezes and travel bans on government-affiliated individuals. General business with Guinea is allowed, but any transactions involving sanctioned individuals risk legal breaches. Engaging with such funds could expose us to serious compliance, legal, and reputational penalties under EU law. > Human Rights
	Guinea-Bissau Africa	We cannot accept funds or investors from Guinea‑Bissau due to EU and UN sanctions targeting individuals involved in mutinies and coups. These measures include asset freezes and travel bans on specific persons destabilizing the political order. Guinea‑Bissau is not on the FATF grey or blacklist, but corruption and political instability remain high. > United Nations > Human Rights
	Haiti Caribbean Full Restricted	Haiti was placed on the list due to significant shortcomings in its efforts to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. > FATF listed
	India South Asia	India has a large population of internet users, and unfortunately, many of them have turned to internet scamming as a means of making money. The most common form of internet scam in India is the tech support scam. This type of scam involves scammers pretending to be tech support representatives and convincing victims to pay for unnecessary software or services. It is one of the top 10 internet scamming countries in 2024. > Internet Scams
	Iran Middle East Full Restricted	Due to its failure to address deficiencies in its anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT) regime. This includes weaknesses in its legal framework, supervision, and enforcement of AML/CFT regulations. And its involvement in illicit activities, such as the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) and their financing. > FATF listed > Terrorism
	Iraq Middle East Full Restricted	Due strategic deficiencies in its regime to counter money laundering, terrorist financing, and proliferation financing. Iraq has been remove since 2018 but there are still reports of terrorist funding. > Terrorism
	Israel Middle East Full Restricted	Due to ongoing conflicts involving Israel and concerns over military actions in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran—as well as the International Criminal Court's proceedings against Prime Minister Netanyahu—Israel has been included on our restricted jurisdictions list as part of our risk-based compliance framework. > Active Warzone > Terrorism > Human Rights
